* Requirements *
- Download Latest Version Sony Flashtool by Androxyde v0.9.22.3
- Download Stock Firmware for your Sony Xperia phone
Steps To Flash Firmware To Sony Xperia Devices
1: Unpack the downloaded Sony Flashtool 0.9.22.3 by Androxyde.
2: Launch the Flashtool 0.9.22.3.exe application in the extracted folder and follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your PC.
*Note*
- Take note of the installation path for Flashtool. By default it should be C:\Flashtool
- Copy the downloaded stock frmware (.ftf file) to C:\Flashtool\firmwares
3: In FlashTool installation folder, open Drivers
and launch FlashTool Drivers
4: Select and install Fastboot and Flashmode drivers.
5: Open the installation path again (C:\Flashtool) and run FlashTool which is for X86(32bit) or FlashTool64 (64 bit) depending on your system configuration / architecture.
6: Click on the Lightning icon before BLU (Boot Loader Unlock)
7: Select FlashMode in Bootmode Chooser.
8: Now Select the firmware file from the list, then click Flash
9: Turn off the Sony Xperia device and put it in FlashMode by holding the back button before connecting it to the PC.
10: Once the device is connected, flashing will begin.
11: Once flashing is done, you can unplug and power on your device manually.
